So grimes and Jefferson for 12?
If UF lands your list, I won't be happy... I'll be ecstatic, or even better than that!!!
But, no Chatfield?
Forgot Chatfield lol
08, if I'm correctly interpreting you nicknameOlogy, that list includes:
2 DE/LB (add Chatfield = 3)
I don't thing the Gators can sign 11 (if you add Chatfield).
I also get the feeling that Malik Langham may well be in the class, rather than 1 of Johnson, Gerald or Tannor.
Silvestra would be great, but that's really an optimistic perspective.
If this proves true, it would be absolutely astounding.
His #1, 3, 4 and 10 are going elsewhere.
Tannor has been listed as lite as 207 lbs. For a SDE? Wow. Even if he plays OLB he's got a long way to go. = Auburn
Boykin, McDowell are gators and Chatfield (wants back on board)
So you say we sign 6?
No. 9 maybe 10 depending on what happens. I would substitute several on his list for others. (Especially 1, 3, 4 and 10)
For one, I'd add Chatfield. Some combination of langham, Jefferson, gerald....I'd have to put some thought into it.
Edit: 8 or 9 after adding Watkins commit.
They should get as many as they can up to 25 and stay below 85 of course
Its 10 days out so I figured I would put up my most likely with confidence level. I think we take 10 more. They are...
Justin Watkins -ATH - 100% Gator
Jacob Copeland - WR - 100% Gator
Noah Boykin - CB - 90% Gator
Griffin McDowell - C - 90% Gator
Andrew Chatfield - OLB - 80% Gator liking everything I'm hearing
Nick Petit-Frere - OT - 80% more and more quality Crystal Balls
Dorian Gerald - DE - 70% just took Ole Miss off the board
Noah Jefferson - DT - 60% will he qualify, are Gerald and him a package?
Nesta Silvera - DT - 50% UF/Miami to the end, hoping Chatfield makes the difference
Richard Gouraige - OT - 40% Does he want to anchor the RT with Frere at LT, both from Tampa Bay, some say no
Unlikely (less than 20%) but still hoping OL Barnes, OL Montilus, DT Coynis Miller and DE Langham.
I think we may only take one DT with Jefferson (qualifier??) a Plan B if we don't get Silvera. If we only get one DT then that opens a spot for another DE/LB like Malik Langham if he wants in or Caleb Johnson. I'm not high on Johnson and all his CBs have only been in the last week so I'm holding him out for now. We may hold his commitable offer until after NSD if we have room. As far as OL I'm watching to see any more coaching visits if we bring the whole staff to seal the deal. I'm hoping our new TE coach will help get NPF and King Rich. If Barnes does visit then his percentage may go way up and replace another OL.
I have us at 77 on scholarship leaving 8 available for now. I would hope we sign 10 and wait to see who shakes out this summer.
If we finish with these 10 it would put us in the Top 10 around 8 or 9 with around a 275 ranking.
I have a feeling a few on the team will not like the "Gator standard" as Mullen stated at the BBall game and will leave at the end of Spring lol
There's probably a few but it seems as if the kids on the roster are galvanizing. Coming together as a family that we haven't seen in awhile.
Get on the train or get left behind. If they don't have what it takes, they're just dead weight anyway
Jefferson is now officially committed to OM.
Hard for out of State JUCO kids to get into Florida schools. Jefferson did not have grades to get into UF
Ole miss? Aren’t they banned from post season play and scholarships?
They got some kinda penalty but I didn't pay attention to the specifics. Didn't keep them from getting that QB from out west whose name I've already forgotten.
OK I have 2 midterms next Friday, so I am going out on a limb here with my guesses and will wait and see what happens on 2/7. Time to crack the books!
Kerrdog’s list looks pretty accurate to me. Not sure we get both King Rich and NPF, but otherwise realistic expectation for the class
I would love to get Langham over Gerald if Alabama fills up, but if Gerald comes in ata ripped 290 lbs. I would take him now for immediate results in the field.
