Pitts is listed as 6'4" 224 lbs on Rivals. I think that is more likely his true size based on that video.

The quotes from players and parents recruited by Nord have always been complimentary, he's a good coach but perhaps not personally a great recruiter. The comments from Gator Fans? Not so much so.

I don't think we need to have a great recruiter at every position. TE in particular is about developing individual relationships. That doesn't take charisma. It takes affability and honesty. I just want to see Nord have success developing TEs. We'll soon see with Gamble. Goolsby and Lewis are just not getting it.

Agreed, I think Nord gets an unfair rap from some fans. Not sure what happened to Goolsby and Lewis last year, it seemed they were more productive/involved in the offense in 2015.

According to an article on TOS a Big XII coach reached out to tell them that they are underestimating Kyle Pitts. The Big XII coach said that Kyle Pitts is the best TE in the country.

My favorite recruit in this class! His Hudl and Opening videos are awesome....so quick for a big man and has got glue on his hands.

What makes him my favorite recruit is the family/friends commitment video....seems like a great kid!

He’s been fairly under the radar at the UAAAG. Here’s a nice little article on Kyle. He is doing a bit of recruiting himself!

    http://www.gatorsports.com/2018/01/...-future-mullen/amp/?__twitter_impression=true

“Like fellow UF signees Emory Jones and Trey Dean, Pitts has an ulterior motive while competing this week against some of the nation’s up-and-coming prospects: recruit for the Gators. And he has his sights set on two prospects who would likely bolster the chances for Florida’s offense to be reborn under Mullen.

“Richard Gouraige and Nicholas Petit-Frere,” Pitts said. “We need y’all, and y’all would be a good addition to the class.””

It's great when you have a Signee trying to get another couple of guys to commit to the Gators.
