Strategically, it would make sense to get a commitment from him right before Friday Night Lights kicks off.

So it's between UF, UGA and Va Tech. Interesting.

A wise person never counts any chickens before they hatch.

However, Freak, you make a good point, and perhaps coaches requested him to announce about now.

Of course, the question becomes, if so, is it Gator, Dog, or HokieBird Coaches who make the request.

I think the UGA and VaTech hats are on the table for show.

I think you are correct. After losing CJ UF needs some good news. I expect 2 commits minimum and a very possible flip.

But who would want to fake an association with Georgia? It's like pretending you're friends with Bernie Madoff. ;)

I was thinking Ingram but Troupe is probably a better example.

Let's hope we have momentum to make a QB commit soon... Corral could pop if he likes us, Fields could be worried Corral could take his spot if he drags things out... It sure would be nice having 5* QB's basically jockying to be first to commit to lock in the spot...

As long as they stayed committed of course...

But yeah on Pitts! Any momentum heading into this weekend can only help... and he is a big boy that QB's should love.
