    I guess that's good?

I'm not sure why, exactly. It seems liek a very, very premature thing to do, no matter how big of a Gator fan you are!

JJ's offspring = BUILT IN SWAG!

Wonder if he'll do the "heart attack" when he returns INT's for touchdowns.

We now have two CB commits for 2016. The staff could literally be done taking commits at the CB position for the 2016 class.

If you were a hard core recruitnik five years ago and went into a coma and woke up today, five years later, you'd be totally lost.

Great news! Jack was a great Gator and looking forward to seeing his son play in the Orange and Blue. Jack was amazing..remember the dump pass against USC that he caught in our end zone and broke away from a sure safety to take it like 80 yards.

Ok, I'll bite again. Why a sarcastic response?

I profess to knowing nothing about this kid and heritage is only one part of the package. If he's an elite level CB, then great. That's why I asked.

The other angle is just how likely this commitment is to stick. Yes, legacy, I get that. But he's nearly 4 years from hitting the field as a Gator... seems a long way off to be accepting commitments to me, but what do I know?

He had the smoothest glide of any receiver we've ever had, even Percy. Not faster, just smoother.

I think the fact that he is a legacy is a consideration in the early offer/commitment. It also should be noted that his school has a couple of superstars in the classes in front of him.

    1. If he wasnt elite, the coaches would not have taken his commitment
    2. The recruiting process is speeding up and this is becoming the norm now. The fact that he is a legacy isn't important other than his chances of sticking may be better than that of a player who is not a legacy.

I wasn't trying to start anything. I just don't understand how people on this board have been begging for a commit and once they come people question it. It's kinda aggravating

I assume that if a 2016 kid has a legit, committable offer, he is a stud.

Quit being obtuse. There's an obvious difference between wanting a 2013 commitment and a 2016 commitment.

And no, I'm not one who has been whining for a commitment since I know we'll get ours.

I do question taking commitments this early though. Some players peak really early while NFL rosters are littered with players that were late bloomers. I'm not saying it's a bad pickup just that I would be reluctant to pick up too many players at this juncture as they represent a large risk IMO.

I'm not being anything I respect everyone's opinion, but answer this, if you were muschamp would you have denied his commitment?

I don't know. I don't know how good he really is, how good he projects to be, or where he currently sits on our board. If you're wondering if I'd ever turn down a commitment, the answer is yes and coaches do it all the time.
