Kicking things off with F John Mooney from Lake Brantley. He has committed to the Gators!
Anybody know what our chances are with Jayson Tatum from St. Louis Chaminade? He's listed as 6'7" but they're calling him a SG. Sounds like a three with some range. 247sports has him ranked #4 overall. Can't imagine any elite prospect from Chaminade not giving UF a hard look. I think he plays for the St. Louis Eagles as well.
Maybe King will drop by to give us some insight.

Malik Monk Visits SMU; Few Schools Working Hardest May 9th, 2014 8:03 pm
Malik Monk, a 6-foot-3, 175-pound 2016 shooting guard out of Lepanto (AR) East Poinsett County High School, tripped to SMU unofficially on Friday.
His brother, Marcus Monk, told SNY.tv that a handful of schools are in the mix for Malik, ranked the No. 3 shooting guard in the Class of 2016 by 247 Sports.
Arkansas, Baylor, Florida, Indiana, Kansas, Memphis, SMU and UConn are working the hardest, Marcus said.
“They all offered,” he said. “We have no visits scheduled. We’re not really in a hurry to start visiting. It’s still early in the process.”
A year ago, Arkansas Wings EYB coach Wes Swift praised Monk’s offensive skills to SNY.tv.
“I don’t know where you start when you talk about Malik offensively,” Swift told SNY.tv. “He can beat you right, he can beat you left, he has a smooth stroke from three, as well as a fantastic mid range game, and we’ve all seen how well he can finish. He has a lot of maturity for his age.”
Monk and Kevaughn Allen are high school rivals who have faced each other a number of times in high school. Arksansas people were none to happy to lose Allen to Florida as they are trying to resurrect their basketball tradition. Still, Monk is well aware of Allen and it could help open the door for Florida in his recruitment.
