If we took him this early he's a pretty good prospect and likely garners another star before 2/15.

He has good size, good speed, doesn't avoid contact (more physical than I would have expected), and my favorite attribute is that he catches with his hands extended rather than trying to cradle the ball.

Runs good routes too - good timing and depth. Nice highlights.

Another guy whose on field accomplishments exceed the one who got away in this last class.

Deontai Williams, 3 star safety out of Jax w/ a good offer list.

Solid film. Agree that he will likely pick up another star in the next year.

Coincidentally I was reminded of Dalvin Cook when Deondre was running with the ball.

Really good speed. Faster than any of the WRs we got in the '14 class.

You can really see the change of philosophy in some of these new recruits that we are targeting. I like it.

Interesting comparison, and I can definitely see him as an impact player. He is pretty strong and reminds me of a bit less explosive version of Sammy Watkins in running style. Like to see him keep working on his burst/acceleration. I think he might have more in there. I like him as is, but another half step in his first ten yards could turn him into a very explosive player.

I feel as if you and I are on repeat mode with that same sentiment:confused: some just can't get past the star rating. Oh well. Let's get this season started already.

I especially like these highlights because I personally played against half of those teams in his season highlights , albeit about 15 years ago. It's sad that he made my beloved St. Cloud Bulldogs look silly, but love it that he did the same to Osceola HS. Which was our biggest rival. Same for Poinciana and Gateway HS. :)

You know we probably played against each other. Played mlb for Mt. Dora from 97-00. Of course we weren't really great; .500 team to be exact but we were competitIve.
