This kid is clearly the next Percy Harvin!
That's some impressive footage. Most impressed with how quick off the ball he is. Really good feet, a good motor (lots of downfield blocking and going to the whistle), and a D-lineman's nasty streak. This guy is going to be good.
Whoever coaches the gators in 2016 is going to have a deep, athletic group of OL.
Funniest play is at 2:45 bc that dude sees him from a ways away and still gets tossed. Best play might be at 3:00 bc it shows his power when he keeps his pads low. Worst play is at 4:22 bc he lands on his rb and may have killed him.
So that's what steroids do to someone huh?
I don't really care about size at this point. We were all worried about David Sharpe being too light when he committed. I think he was just a shade under 270. He just weighed in with the other freshmen at 330.
Atlanta Lakeside has been good to us. Only one player I can think of, but it was Huey Richardson.
Just got a chance to watch those highlights and if we get two years to reshape this guy's body he should be a damn monster of a Guard for us. Looks to have the body and the attack mindset to be an awesome road-paver.
Kid really moves well. Lots of pulling in that highlight reel.
I also liked that he held the initial block just long enough to give the RB time to get by and then went looking for a block down field.
I'm betting the kid picks up another star before it is all over.
If true, that doesn't sound like good weight. Once they shape him up he should be hard to handle though.
I don't know how many OL we plan to take but if it were four and the final person was a top OT I would be happy. I like the three players we have committed. A fifth top 40 kind would be excellent but I don't know if there is room.
The dude passed their running test... 16 x 110 yard runs. Not sure what target times he had to hit, but I doubt he's carrying much bad weight.
By the way 16 110's even at 15-16 seconds is brutal
Anyone have any new info on Michael Horton?
OK, it's a month later. Still nothing new?
He took his visit recently and said it was only an 8. Not good news in my opinion.

Hope we don't lose him to Auburn.
