Rumor floating around that Ray Ray is a heavy lean to UCLA at this point.

I saw that too. There are a few predictions that way on 247 now. Where did they even come from? Thought it was us or Clemson. This week sucks. Hopefully we can turn this bad mojo around and get some GOOD news at FNL.

Right , we always pin our hopes to FNL and it always turns into being a dud. FNL is highly overrated.

Dude, cheer up. Most other schools have been getting a commit or two at their camps. It's not outside the realm of possibility for us to get SOME positive news out of FNL. While I am starting to get concerned and am not nearly as bullish on this class as I was early on, I still think it will be pretty solid.

Yeah, and this McCloud to UCLA thing seems to have legs. It really has not been a good few days for us. What concerns me most is offense right now. I think we can still add some good OL, but the RB and WR position look a little scary. With the Campbell/LSU rumors...I am not sure who is left for us after that. Dillon is a great start at WR, but we really need to add more playmakers on offense IMO.

If Roper (and the QB) does a good job getting our guys the ball with some space, the skill position recruiting will take care of itself.

I really hope so. I suspect some new names will be added over time, but right now the board looks very scary.

Guys... the Nolies are coming off a National Championship last year.
Secondly...these recruits have not seen Florida play on single down as of yet.
When we take off with our new offense and our recruits see this... things will change.
The Flipper will perform his magic... watch.

Plus... Roper's offense is MUCH kinder to offensive linemen... for a lot of reasons.
    Florida IS Florida....

Indoor Practice Facility.. we are being left behind. Better start thinking about an upgrade in facilities.

I just don't know where we would put one. Foley doesn't seem that eager to add one either for whatever reason. I don't think a lack of an IPF is costing us recruits necessarily, but it certainly is a wow factor that we are lacking and most other programs of our stature already have.

I know fsu put their's on the existing practice field grounds. Could we do that? I read that they did not miss ANY practice time due to lightning/rain last season. With the amount of thunderstorms that north central Florida gets in late summer and early fall, and IPF could help with that and help recruiting.

I agree. I really don't know if that would cost us too much space to have effective outdoor practices or not. I do know that they recently spent a bunch of money on drainage and new sod for the outdoor practice fields.

Our existing practice area is the only option. I guess the engineers in the 40's did not think about IPF back then.

Finding a space has to be the primary reason why we don't already have one. We certainly have the money to build an IPF. Can't we get rid of something less important like dorms or classroom space? :)

Does anybody know why Bello chose F$U? Last I heard he was a strong UF lean.

Does an IPF make a difference in recruiting?

Or maybe better question is what facilities issues are the biggest "losers" for us wrt recruiting?

Or maybe we could just get rid of the law school. There are already enough lawyers.

We do not have the money to build an IPF. We are using funds to upgrade athletic living, dorms, and classrooms. An IPF is so down the list when it comes to recruiting that it doesn't seem to be a big deal. Foley has already said not to expect one while he was the AD. I will take Foley over an IPF any day.
