Me too those defensive lineman and linebackers would be insane!
Sorry man. I'm just used to people on this board always having some kind of smart comment or something negative to say. Have to be on my toes.
Huh? On THIS board?
Surely... you jest?!
Johnson will be our safety in this class.
Simply curious, where have you seen where Campbell isn't a 5-star anymore? 247 has him as a 4-star but rated at 97, and their composite score, which is an average of the other recruiting sites if you're not familiar with it, has him as a 5-star and rated at 98.78. It may have changed after he ran that 4.36 40 at the Opening though.
He's a five star on ESPN (#11 overall), and a high 4 star on Rivals (#42 overall). Bottom line is he is a top 25-50 kid nationally. He'd be our highest rated recruit if he committed today. I think he's a really important recruit for Florida. We really need the speed, athleticism, and playmaking ability he could bring to our offense.
I think mad dawg george brown jr. Ends up in this ol class. He decides July 25th. He is also from Ohio and good friends with Jerome baker.

Thinking I Don't Want To Be To Far Away From Home
Don't know what to think about this. But it always plays a factor.
Yeah absolutely. It doesn't matter what ranking he is. He's got the things you can't teach like height and speed, and just overall athleticism. I've heard that he still has trouble catching the ball out in front with his hands and therefor drops more balls than a top receiver should, but Chris Leak can teach him to catch a football in no time at all. This kid would be a great add to our offense and we could use him almost like a Percy Harvin where he can line up pretty much anywhere on the field.
Wouldn't be surprised if he ended up at LSU playing safety.
Idk, I'd be pretty shocked if he ended up there playing safety
Went on a 4 day visit with Tolliver to LSU, and then went to the Opening where he was attached at the hip with Tolliver and wearing LSU gear. Also was chaperoned the entire trip with Tolliver's dad who is a big LSU recruiter. Just a guess.
Point taken, but I thought Campbell's mom really liked Florida a lot?
Even though Campbell is one of those prospects that is a complete athletic freak that can excel at any position, I can't see him going somewhere to play safety. I think he has to know that WR is where the money is in the future.
With that being said, I feel that he is UF's to lose if he is shown that Florida is willing to get the ball out to its wide receivers and not just run the ball into a stacked box all the time. In other words, I am glad he is being recruited this cycle watching Roper's offense as opposed to Pease's.
Good mock class. I just noticed Williams de-committed so he is probably out.
Also I think the OL who is committing soon, George Brown, will pick the Gators too.
If we do land that LB class, it might be the best one we have ever had including our haul from 2 years ago.
He plays Safety as well for his HS team, and most scounts will tell you his hands are what is holding him back from being a big time WR as of right now. That sounds like someone who could play safety, no?
I think we have a good chance with OL George Brown. He visited today and here is what he had to say.
@MADDAWG_G: I Can Say This Feels Like Home Too
Good news considering he announces on July 25th
To excel at WR, you have to be able to catch the football. No one doubts Campbell's athletic ability but they do doubt his ability to catch the football at the next level. 1865 is right that Campbell more than likely will be a safety as that is what college coaches do with WR's who can't catch.
You can take WR Payton and Safety Williams ( georgia ) off the list
This along with DeVo Walker ACL it was a beautiful week.
