His clips remind me of David Pollack. Quick off the line, good hands, very good motor.

Anybody know what his competition is like?

Great lateral quickness and relentless motor. He will be a good lunch pail and hardhat kind of tackle.

On the Hudl website they've got a highlight video from his 1-1 battles at the Nike camp. He looks pretty impressive there, and that's against pretty good talent. He's got a great spin move, I like him as well.

Their HS coach said he's better than Joey at this stage, so count me as pleased

Yep, says the younger ivie is much more mature and polished at this stage as a junior. Says he has to be kicked out of the gym, cause he won't ever leave it. :)

Just once can we refrain from using the word "motor" to describe a white kid on the DL? :)

    He can jump?

I would like to know more about his overall strength. If he has acumen, speed, power, and determination he should be successful.

if he has to be kicked out of the gym, then strength should not be an issue. Does every white DE have to be compared to Pollack?

But he's Pollack and Culpepper wrapped into one, just like Trattou and Lemmens were!

Every white DL gets compared to those 2, yet there hasn't been a white DL on UF since either that has come close to their impact. Here's to hoping in 10 years we're comparing white DL to the Ivies! lol.

No... he doesn't have to be compared to Pollack. But he reminded me of Pollack in his style of play, quickness, hands, leverage, motor, etc.

If you have a better comparison, feel free to chip in.
