That is taking account all of the predictions, including when he was a strong UF lean. If you look at the past few days, all of the predictions put in have him going to ASU including the Gator guy from 247, Luke Stampini from GC, and Zach A from the Sun. I was hoping we'd get him, but it isn't looking good. I'm wondering if ASU just won him over, or if the UF coaches were slow playing him a bit due to a potential numbers crunch.

Thanks. My bad - didn't pay attention to the dates.

I have no idea what caused the switch, but hope it wasn't because we slow played him. He looks ready to be a productive receiver right now - not a lot of development needed.

It kinda sucks that he'll likely be staying out west, although he wasn't going to be on campus immediately; it would've been sweeter if he was available for spring ball. Oh well.

The big picture is going to be shaped by Ivie, Riles, Brantley, Harkless, Sharpe, Willis, Holley, Bostwick, Rod Johnson, Kelleher, Clark, etc...I just hope Muschamp gets enough time to cultivate the youth he's brought in at the line of scrimmage. It would be nice if a couple of those guys could become key players in the rotation a year ahead of schedule.

I still think we need a quantifiable possession WR. Nothing like that left on the board right now. Maybe the coaches feel good about high caliber players at other positions. That would be great, Prince, Carter, Jackson, etc.

I was going to say something else, but I just got back from being banned. Still not sure why.

Not much of a surprise, but ASU definitely climbed over us late to get to him -- most likely on his OV like everyone guessed. Kind of confused why he would want to a school that has recently had light shined on it for being one of the most racist universities in the country.

Anyway, best of luck to him. Like I said a few days ago, I think McKenzie became the better/more realistic option late in the game.

I love McKenzie for this offense, and really hope we still get him.

But Lauderdale brings a different dimension. He's a very complete receiver and a legit red zone threat as well as a guy who could reliably move the chains for us, and block in the run game. Would have liked to see him too. Will be interested to see who they're looking at in that type of role.

I don't want to sound like this is sour grapes, but Lauderdale didn't appear to be the type of player Roper is looking for. Instead, I'm hoping for Isaiah McKenzie, Treon Harris, Adoree' Jackson (if he plays on offense) & J.C. Jackson (if he plays on offense.)

You certainly could be right. While I obviously have my thoughts on what our team needs, I won't pretend to know what Roper's specifically looking for, or where he thinks our current guys will fit - and what holes that leaves to fill.

I'm hoping for the guys you list as well. Adoree and JC would both be fine on either offense or defense by me, although I think Adoree wants offense and we really need him there more.

I must have missed these stories. Totally unrelated to recruiting, but what are we talking about? I'd love to see a link.

Really bad idea even IF the level if collective disrespect is exaggerated in the article. Anyone else tune into Blazing Saddles last night? Classic.

Yeah... 16 kids doesn't make the whole university racist.

Missed it last night, but Blazing Saddles is one of my favorite movies.

Too many funny scenes, but right from the beginning it's a gut buster and they're busting on as many people as they can...

one frat party does not define the tenor of the entire university. if having a collection of ignorant morons in a frat house, or any student organization for that matter, is grounds for not committing to a school, then college athletics would cease to exist.

This is hardly scandalous. A small percentage of idiotic frat boys attending an off-campus party, not sanctioned by the fraternity? I have no dog in this fight and am admittedly anti-frat, but this shouldn't reflect on the university in any way. Stupid is stupid and there is no shortage of stupid at any university. As for Blazing Saddles....as funny as it gets. I never get sick of this movie. BTW, a movie that could never be made nowadays in this hyper PC society.
