Leadership is leadership. If you talk to some real-life coaches, they will all tell you the same thing. The principles are the same, though the application of those principles differs greatly.

It's why, as someone else noted, Spurrier's all-time favorite coach was Wooden. It's why a former CEO took over the Coastal Carolina football program and has molded them into a power. (Google Joe Moglia.)

The principles of success are universal. Billy understands that. I think Will will get there.

2014 season is doomed unless... Unless coach can get the guys to play like they are capable of. Is Muschamp capable of coaching the veterans up to their potential, developing the young guys, and fostering chemistry? We will see soon. Go Gators!

I agree 100%. I don't think we can judge will from last year or from an article with some quotes. This year should be better if not something is wrong.

It is doomed if we don't win football games. Simple as that. Winning solves everything.

You can't overlook the massive number of injuries to key offensive players and how that also impacted the team's performance and attitude.

As for the earlier conversation, it takes coaching leadership and player leadership. You've got to have both to win at a high and consistent level. Anyone who downplays the importance of senior (upperclassmen) leadership has never really played a team sport. Ditto anybody that downplays the importance of coaching. Its not just the Jesses and Joes.

There was enough blame last year to spread over five senior classes and five coaching staffs. Last season was pretty much unforgivable.
