No, not Percy, not Demps, not Rainey.

He looks a lot like Brandon James coming out of high school to me.

I can see that. I would say that he has a little more burst with his first step/acceleration than James. He is also much more of a receiver that can run when needed. James, on the other hand, was basically a running back and was never a receiving threat when he played in the slot.

    In Christ forever,

Tried to think of who he reminds me of, and couldn't come up with any sure fire matches. Closest I could come up with is Jacquizz Rogers, but not as thick.

Regardless, kid is a player. Want him in O&B.

Charles Nelson's mom reported on Facebook that the Gators are no longer recruiting Nelson. I would have to think that means they feel good about getting either McKenzie, Lauderdale or maybe Jamil Kamara

I tell myself that every year, but I'm still alive after following this nonsense on the internet for the past 15 years.

I think Lauderdale is in the bag. Don't know if we still want one more after that. McKenzie is certainly a different kind of player. Don't know much about Jamil Kamara.

New story confirms he is waiting until signing day. Maybe things fall his way, but really can't see us "holding" a spot for him. If there is a spot, he can take it, but Adoree Jackson, Prince will for sure have spots held for them on signing day and most guess that Lauderdale & Porter will take theirs this week. And now we seem to have a more pressing need at OT with the additional players we are bringing in on visits.

I would love to have an electric player like McKenzie, but if he WANTS the spot, I hope he took it.

I disagree. I would say he is outside of the bag and walking away down the street towards Arizona. Where are you gathering your intel from?

IMO, both Mackenzie and Lauderdale s/b takes if they want in. They bring different skills to the offense. And Mackenzie adds ST skills.

McKenzie is absolutely a take if he wants in on NSD. The guy will be special, the only question is will we hate him or love him on Saturdays?

I think he's ours to lose at this point, but I'm not an insider... it's just my opinion.

Details on his meeting with Muschamp. Looks good so far.

Will Muschamp is one of the hardest working head coaches in college football when it comes to recruiting. Tuesday afternoon Muschamp stopped by to see receiver Isaiah McKenzie (5-8, 165, Plantation, FL American Heritage) who just came off of an official visit to Florida last weekend.

“Coach Muschamp,Coach T-Rob (Travaris Robinson) and Coach (Kurt) Roper came by the school,” McKenzie said. “It went great man. We was just talking mainly it was real laid back. Coach Muschamp and me we like to joke around with each other so we were just joking around today.”

When Muschamp visited McKenzie on Tuesday afternoon he wanted to talk with the receiver about his official visit to Gainesville last weekend.

“Coach Muschamp was talking to me about my official from last weekend,” McKenzie said. “I just told him that I had a really good time and he was asking me about what I liked and stuff. I told him that I liked that he didn’t pressure me to commit or anything like that.”

Although there is a numbers crunch, Muschamp told McKenzie that he’s okay with him taking his remaining two officials but he made it clear he wants him in Gainesville.

“I still plan to visit Ole Miss and Notre Dame,” McKenzie said. “Coach Muschamp told me that he understands that I want to take those visits and he respects that but he hopes that I choose Florida and that he has a spot for me.”

With two visits remaining for McKenzie he has a lot on his mind but he likes Florida a lot and also knows what factor will make his decision for him.

“I have very high interest in Florida,” McKenzie said. “I’m going to have a hard decision to make soon. At this point I have a lot of options to go out of state or stay in-state but I’m looking for the best fit for me and where I feel at home at whether that’s in-state or out of state. I felt at home at Florida this past weekend and the coaches and players were real welcoming to me but I still have to see whether other schools make me feel that way too.”
