Orlando hosts a pod for the second and third rounds of the NCAA Tournament next year and tickets go onsale to the public in a couple weeks. However, I understand there is a presale going on or about to start that I would certainly like to attempt to get in on. Anyone have any information about that?? I'm certainly hopeful the Gators would get to play here in Orlando next year.

Yeah but the scary thing is there is a good chance Florida will not end up there, since you have to think if Kentucky and Louisville have the seasons experts are predicting them to have, odds are that's where they are going to be on opening weekend.

Assuming they are both one seeds and we are not (which is what I guess you mean)There are several locations closer than Orlando for both schools. Wouldn't they go to one of those?

    Louisville to Dayton: 153 miles
    Louisville to St. Louis:260 miles
    Louisville to Orlando: 861 miles

    Lexington to Dayton: 137 miles
    Lexington to St.Louis: 339 miles
    Lexington to Orlando: 821 miles

So my guess is that Orlando will not get both and may not get either of UL and UK. I would also say if UF is a protected seed, ie 4 or above the odds are very good UF will be in the Orlando pod.

If we could ever get guys healthy and eligible, we'd be a lock for a 4-seed or higher. Buying tix now for Orlando is probably a safe bet for Gator-watching.
