He looks to be in the Peter Warrick mold. He doesn't have the best speed, but he is ultra productive with great hands and makes everybody miss after he gets the ball.

Just don't return the favor by stealing cook. Lol getting beat at home was enough.

What do some schools not like about Sousa? He seems to have good body control and knows how to run after the catch. I can see he's lacking top end speed but besides that whats not to like?

His speed is better than it looks on tape. He runs 4.4 and can make DB"s miss..also strong upper body (315 bench) with quick hands to get off press coverge

I do not believe he runs a 4.4

Not real big so a slot guy, and not that fast for a slot guy. Super star? Not likely but a solid performer is likely.

You never know what you gonna get until a kid gets to campus...we have had all these 4 and 5 star WR and plenty of busts.....so it remains to be seen

So I guess the world isn't falling apart after the FSU loss like some thought it would.

I would imagine he'll be a lot like many of our current receivers - guys that have trouble creating separation and end up having to fight for the ball. He seems better equipped to do that (good hands, good upper body) than most of what we have currently, but that puts so much pressure on a QB.

Is it really too much to ask for a burner on the outside that can win some one-on-one match-ups?

He is going to play in the slot and will do a good job at it. When Jimbo and Joker both want you you are a good football player. Ermon Lane can win 1 vs 1 match ups on the outside. So can Demarcus Robinson if he is still on the team next year

Didn't look like a 4.4 to me, either. But I didn't see him get caught from behind, and I did see him pull away from several packs of DBs, some with angles. I think he'll be a good one.

Some good news, awesome! Shocking that he committed without an OC. Does this say anything, good or bad, about our WR recruiting regarding higher rated prospects?

I'm not sure it was the fsu loss alone. The six leading up to that game contributed as well. Lets be fair, a WR commit doesn't change the picture THAT much.

If DR isn't here next year I hope it's because he refused to try and improve his performance level(learn the playbook, his assignments, etc).

I hope DR waits to see what's up with the new OC, and we work hard to keep him. You can see his athleticism. He is going to be a very good player when he gets settled into the offense.
