love the film!!! Type of cornfed lineman Huskers feasted on for years.
Yea I like rivals too, I think they do the best job of the other sites evaluating talent. I figured that's what it might have been they might have not gotten around to evaluating him fully yet.
very atheletic, I would not be upset if he grew into a Left Tackle
Any new info on this guy way out in Wyoming?
Quick interview with him. One thing that stands out is this kids frame, jesus.
Some expect him to move to OL.
Not happening. He is only 17 with wheels. They today him if he goes 289 or above then dt
Man only 17? Just looks like a Dlineman to me.
17 years old and 289 means he plays anywhere on the D-line when he's 18 or 19.
Wait, Taven is 289 right now? I thought he was 250ish and fast, perfect size for a young rush end.
Reported weight is 257.
D or O, who cares just so long as the young man is a player. His film shows him putting more opponents on their backsides than our entire O line last season. Seems to take pleasure in not stopping until they're either on the ground or in the next zip code on O.
They told him if he hits 280 he goes to dt. He was 263 then lost some weight. Now he is gaining it back. They had to kick him out of the gym on the weekends. Because he dropped to 250
Lol... I misread Ironshafts' post on his weight. Still he's a big boy and I remember Fowler gaining weight real easily when he signed on. I hope this young man can gain some good muscle weight so he can be more versatile.
He definitely looks like he can carry more good weight, but he's big enough already to play DE I think.
Signed Letter of Intent.
