Although I don't really care about rankings and trust Muschamps evaluations more than any recruiting site, It's weird that he's a 3 star wider receiver on 247 but top 50 athlete on ESPN.

Since we want him as a CB, I think athlete is more fitting.

247 also has him evaluated as a WR. He is a better WR than CB in high school but I think he has a higher ceiling at CB.

I don't think the 247 folks have gotten around to scouting many Florida kids yet. They eventually catch up.

Good pickup. This kid is an outstanding athlete. Glad we're getting an early start on CBs.

5'10" really means he's more like 5'8" or 5'9"...Right? I wonder how tall he really is?

Will he be able to out jump those 6'3" to 6'5" receivers in college?

I get concerned when we get short corner backs.

I think he is really 5'10 (he might be a little taller) his huld highlights have him listed at 6'1. He is super athletic I personally have no worries about him covering a 6'3 WR

He is a legit 5'10 maybe even 5'11, I know this kids family, he is a good one. He is an Athlete in the truest since of the word. Great punt and kick off skills, and good wr, and will be a stud Cb in my opinion. He's been talking about the gators since his sophomore yr. Glad he is finally with the good guys.

I saw him play last year and he is not a 3 star. He is very good and confident. Kids from Immokalee are not your average kids. I would take several other players from there also. Those kids are tough in a good sense.....

Are his grades in order? Immokalee is an F school and a lot of their players don't qualify.

For those who've seen him play, who does he resemble? 5'10"-5'11" 180-190 is decent size for a corner. Especially when they're as athletic as JC.

The 6'3" college receivers are really only 6'1". If everybody is exaggerating their heights by a couple of inches then it doesn't matter.

Glad we got a potential return specialist in the fold already. Not sure we got one out of the last class. I can see Jackson getting on the field early on in nickel and dime packages. Kids from the Muck play high level competition and typically show up on college campuses ready to compete. And of course, they can run. (rabbit chasers)

I know I might be speaking a little high praise, but I watched Janoris Jenkins play in hs, and J.C. reminds me of him. The kid is just a great athlete. When he can focus on just one position, instead of playing wr,cb, and return and kickoff, and wildcat qb, he will be a stud CB. And as far as grades the kid is on top of that, momma don't play that game.
