I believe he was the Gatorade POY
I think you are right. JB IV won it.
Good video on Grier's father coaching him up, biggest thing being footwork. I think this kid is going to be a leader.
I still have to wonder if Brantley didn't get a bad draw. The program wasn't exactly stable.
JB was never a good fit for Meyer's offense. I think both he and Meyer made a big mistake deciding to try to make it fit. He probably also had some bad luck with timing... who knew the team would be imploding about the time he got his shot?
JB had Kerwin in HS... [runs away and hides]

Guys, you need to check out www.parade.com/allamerica.
Suppose to be more info on there, including 6 second clip that his brother (and Vine star, whatever that is) Nash Grier made for him.
The more I read etc about this guy, the more excited I get about him being a Gator! We're fortunate to have him!
Continuous Signing Day Coverage on USA Today:
Job #1; add strength and weight
Job #2; teach player to read and recognize defensive coverages
Job #3; don't mess with mechanics, don't add so much weight that he loses speed
This kid has the best measurables of any QB since Donald Douglas. He has been couched well and has gotten first class conditioning. Screw around with his bulk too much and we turn him into another crash test dummy. Will is the rare pro-style QB with explosive athleticism, 35" VJ and sub four second shuttle. His 40 time is decent, but that's not as relevant. His VJ means that he has a great first steep and probably a good 10 to 20 yard burst. His shuttle time means he can move his feet fast, change direction, stop and start on a dime and change direction. Mind you that 3.9 is freakish at any position. Picture Percy Harvin last night. Will Grier is half a second faster in the 20 yard shuttle.
Signed Letter of Intent.
