Others have him as the 6th best QB rated as a 4 star. So why the hullabaloo?
His highlight tape reminds me of Colt McCoy. Puts a lot of air on his deeper throws but has a lighting quick release and incredible touch, plus he has deceptive speed.
Do you have anything in your life that makes you happy or must you complain about everything?
Somebody forgot to take his meds.
When we got Driskel, #1 QB in his class we celebrated, and rightly so. He was a five star and best QB recruit in the nation. Get it?
listen Will Grier will probably be ranked 1st or 2nd QB in the south. Two QB's rated higher than him threw for Pease and CWM and they decided not to offer them. One of them still has ZERO offers the other committed to Texas Tech because nobody in Florida would offer him.
Wait, are you saying that the coaches know more than recruiting services or fans on a messageboard? That's crazy talk.
GatorAvatar I have good news for you Will Grier is now the 4th ranked QB according to 247.
The 3 ranked above him are Keller Chryst Caleb Henderson & D.J. Gillins.
Keller Chryst is from Cali and probably staying on the west coast.
Caleb Henderson is from Virginia.
DJ Gillins is from Jacksonville he threw for both Florida and FSU and neither staff offered him. He is committed to the mighty Texas Tech.
On 247, Grier is actually #3 among Pro style QBs at this moment.
I can't take 247 seriously for some reason...
I never misspelled his name, but.................half this board did.
I think our coaches are ahead of the curve on Grier. He'll be a great one and maybe the best/highest (ranked)..........not that that really matters to me.
Yeah, but we have to wait for him too, at least if we get a 2013 Driskel can throw to him next year.
That'd be the one
We have a Driskel in 2013, he's only a Junior. Why do we need another one, when the one we have hasn't had an offensive line for half the season?
So you only celebrate 5 star recruits? The difference between recruits rated as 4 or 5 stars is really a matter of personal preference. Grier is who the coaches had at the top of our QB board. They're not reaching and you should know to trust this coaching staff. They've earned it.
Driskel was the number one rated QB but he was actually still a four star recruit
You misunderstood him, he was implying he wants Grier to help recruit a 2013 WR that Driskel can throw to next year, preferably Demarcus Robinson, I presume.
Ah, the word WR after 2013 was missing. I get it now and agree
