Was this somewhat of a surprise commit?

The next linebacker who does not pan out at linebacker? Though I am not opposed to landing a fullback in this upcoming class, I don't think it is a position to place a big emphasis on. I think it is a position where you can train someone from LB or TE to play the role more than adequately.

As for Cook, his film is crazy. I hope he sticks. Long process.

OR you can go out and find the best person for the position and take their commitment like we did with Hunter Joyer. That has worked out pretty well. It is too important a position to just try and find someone who fails at another position.

So with Cook on board, are we not feeling strong about Sony Michel?

I know there are a number of BIG backs we will be going after to complement Cook.

    Great pickup.

Two backs in the 13 class is optimal. We're playing this season one below where we should be, 5 RBs is ideal, plus Mack Brown is graduating.

What a great pick up!! It is great to see us finally landing top rbs again. This kid will see the field as a freshmen.

Ajagbe was an outstanding running back in high school. I believe he rushed for over 1000 yards. Was also the 100m guy on their track team, ran about 11 flat. By all accounts, he's been one of the most pleasant surprises on the offense this spring.

We should certainly bag one for 2014, or at least someone who could project there and at other positions. Getting a good one might make it easier to recruit elite RBs.

One site had him listed at 4.55. He certainly looks faster than that. Might just lack sprinting mechanics. Sure doesn't lack football speed. Starts fast, separates quickly.

Yearby and Cook are on just the same level as Michel. Dade and Broward County are absolutely LOADED this year

I believe Latsko was a LB first (correction?)

Burton is a perfect back-up for FB IMO, but we do need to find another top flight FB in this next class.

There don't appear do be many top flight fullbacks listed. There's one stud already committed to Texas. Nobody else is rated more than three stars or has more than one or two offers. I'm guess that the best fullback candidates are listed at different positions. The position is only slightly more glamorous than long snapper or holder.
