Are there any interesting fullbacks in the mix for the mighty Gators? Once Trey Burton graduates we'll be quite thin there, and having Burton in that position might already suggest a lack of depth.

We have 3 FB's on the roster Burton is a WR. They are looking at Cortavious Givens but spots are really limited in this cycle

Not a serious concern yet. I think we'll get a good senior year out of Ajagbe next season, then hopefully Ledbetter turns into a decent FB. FBs seem to be easy to recruit when we need one. The ones we sign are seldom highly recruited by other schools.

I agree. There are FB-types who fly under the radar in almost every recruiting cycle.

Burton doesn't play full back but one name to watch is Cortavious Givens.

Agreed plus Joyer will be back next year. I think Florida recruits one for sure next year but usually you don't recruit a full back you just move someone there

Thought Joyer was a senior. If Ajagbe shows that he can do something with the ball this season, maybe he gets a look at another offensive position as a senior; TE, H-back or some variation of Burton's past role. He's got some nice height and good speed for his size. Used to run just over 11 seconds in the 100m.

Joyer is a junior but yes Ajagbe could move to an h-back but we will see how does this year.

We were in it briefly for Gerald Owens, a 245 pound RB/FB out of New Jersey, but he has since committed to Michigan State. He was just too good a running back to choose UF. He's currently ranked the #1 FB in the country, but was as high as #7 as a RB.
