Love Ducatis. Are there any Americans in WSBK? If so, how are they doing?
If your a Camping World Truck fan be sure to root for the #19 Watermelon truck owned by Brad Keslowski and driven by Ross Chastain. Ross is my nephew and a good kid that is getting a ahot!
Nice! I'll cheer for him. Solid truck and team there. For many years, the trucks were absolutely the best event of Speedweeks. I saw Bodine's scary wreck right in front of me. Saw Rick Crawford win on the last lap in 2003, one of the best finishes I've ever seen anywhere. I saw Mark Martin finally win here, in a truck. My girlfriend knows Timothy Peters well, he is a good driver and deserves a ride. He has a new baby to feed.

ARCA series from Daytona and AMA Supercross from Dallas live on Saturday
John Hopkins campaigned the 2012 season. Last year he finished in 19th, but he's been battling injuries his whole life. He's taking a sabbatical this year to make a full recovery.
There are more Americans in MotoGP actually. Nicky Hayden, Colin Edwards, and Ben Spies
Are the NASCAR Gen 6 cars faster ? Practice laps speeds were in excess of 196 mph today!
Speed, if you know anybody at NASCAR with some real pull, please tell them to do something about their website. The new look is an absolute abortion and in no way is it any improvement over previous iterations of the site. If you think this is just my opinion, just go to the web site and go down to the comments on the front page. They are all in agreement about just how bad a mess they made this year. As an indicator of how bad it is, one day after that race last night, see how long it takes you to find the full results of the race.
I have not even looked, but I'll check it out. I use www.Jayski.com for Nascar news. I called Daytona about their (new) track website because I was hunting for supercross ticket info. She asked my opinion of the changes because the brass told them to note callers requests. They already know they screwed up with the changes they made. I informed her the tab/page on the Daytona site for track news was gone. Pretty bad to have nothing there about the Rolex 24 a week after the race.
Did I just hear Danica won the 500 pole? I was camping this weekend and just got home.
not a big race fan but I always have a blast at the st pete grand prix. I can ride my bike down there and watch all day
Sent from my mind using esp
Yes she did....I think going early helped, but she was fast all weekend
Wrangler Heritage Series: Episode 1 - Richard Childress talks about how the Wrangler NASCAR team came about in 1981 and the first race Richard and Dale ran together.
This is the #3 Wrangler car that Dale Jr won with in Daytona, July 2010 Nationwide series.
The money stop, final pit stop of the race, it was awesome being so close.
Here is a link to a new radio show, The Dale Jr. Download
On the debut of The Download, we recap the Sprint Unlimited and pay tribute to Dale Earnhardt with stories from the people who knew him most -- his family.
This is from 2 years ago, Kelley shared a lot of personal family photos with fans.
Today is 12 years since Nascar lost Dale Earnhardt Sr.

Younger Drivers Hungry For NASCAR's Big Stage
>> Watch out drivers, the likes of Kyle Larson and Austin Dillon may be closer than they appear. <<
Good article on the new, young guys in the sport of NASCAR.
Kyle Larson was 2nd in the ARCA race Sat at D.I.S., then won Sunday night in a pavement USAC midget at New Smyrna, then caught a lot of flak for his last lap win Monday in Battle at the Beach, then was 2nd in the Modified when he missed a shift on a restart and got wrecked. It was his first New England Mod race I think. He was top 5 in the K&N Pro series until a late skirmish, still finished 10th.
That's 5 different series races in 4 days for the kid. Whew!
Yeah, but when you're real young you can do anything! You just go and do it and and not think about it!
For those interested, we have finally completed the 2013 Sprint Cup Schedule and brief bios of the NASCAR drivers. It's a sticky at the top. Looks like Speedofsand approves. He hasn't said otherwise and we all know he has tough NASCAR standards.
Heck of a race last night. Florida's Ross Chastain did a good job, Gatoragman. I saw before the race he had TJ Majors spotting. I was also pulling for Timothy Peters and Jeb Burton because my girl knows them well. Ross and Timothy ran together a lot. I'm glad Sauter won and Ahole Busch didn't.

Tony Stewart takes on his biggest interview of Daytona 500 weekend
I saw this youngster on Fox35 Orlando's morning show Friday, he was great.
Funny article in yesterday's USA Today on NASCAR drivers and their take on fitness. Most of the drivers are fitness buffs, these days, and staunchly maintain it enhances their driving performance. But Tony Stewart said, "it's not like you have to get out of the car and push the damn thing."
I think all the Danica haters can SHUT UP after today.
