Expect to lose these high school players:

85 A.J. Puk, LHP, Cedar Rapids IA
#96 Tyler Danish, RFP, Valrico FL
#102 Christian Arroyo, MIF, Spring Hill FL
#118 Brett Morales, RHP, Tampa FL

Sean Brady, LHP, Cape Coral FL will be close as he likely goes in the 5th-6th round.
Logan Shore is perhaps another one who likely gets picked in the top ten rounds.

Don't just go by the rankings...it is all about what these kids are telling scouts regarding signability. Brady, by all accounts, is going to sign. Puk and Morales are asking for higher bonus deals and while both may sign, there is still a decent chance both come to Gainesville.

Danish and Arroyo are going to sign. Shore may well also and Moss is also expected to have a serious decision to make.

Look for Jonathon Crawford to go in the first round. He did not have a good year for UF but still has the "p" word "potential attached to him.

No, not really. It was pretty well known the Giants really liked Arroyo and could take him in the first round.

It really didn't matter if the kid went in the first round or not, he wasn't coming to UF after the way he played this spring.

I'm not saying he wasn't high on their board. But a lot of drafts had him around the 100 range. I'd say that he made a good jump. And I'm sure the Giants don't care where the kids they picked are ranked. Like you said, he was probably gone either way. Good scouting by Sully IMO. Sucks that a lot of time that still means we will never see a lot of these kids in O&B.

I noticed the commentators mentioned at least 2 guys committed to SC that went in the first round.

Do not be surprised if South Carolina upsets UNC and makes it back to the college world series yet again.

If my kid was drafted in the top 20, I would tell him to go pro.
