Please post any updates and/or scheduling news in this thread. Do your best to provide a link or source. Also this is not the thread to discuss who UF should or shouldn't play. Hall and myself will do our best to edit A.S.A.P. with dates and/or opponents. Thanks guys and gals. :)

Gators play Kansas at home

If those don’t fire up the Rowdy Reptiles, maybe an O’Connell Center date against a certain historic powerhouse in the SEC/Big 12 Challenge -- official announcement sometime in the near future-- will do the trick.

Yeah we're just waiting for the official word on that one. I'm going to be real ticked if it's Iowa State or Texas. UAA better not be playing mind games.

I think it is either Oklahoma State or Kansas.

I have a feeling it's okie state. They are technically a traditional powerhouse, just not in the past 10 years. That would be a let down

You gotta think that Okie State will play either UF or UK. They can play up the Travis Ford angle, give the sideline chick something to blabber about after commercials.

I think the Yale series was a 2 for 1, so we might be playing them at home next season.

I wonder if we will be making any "homecoming" trips this year. All of our seniors are from the state of Florida, except for Prather, who is from Tennessee (and we play there anyway). DFS is from Virginia, and Harris and Brax are from North Carolina.

I think there are a lot of guesses in this article.

When things are in doubt we need to view the possible outcomes via the potential $'s from TV. What ESPN wants, they get. They pay the bills. If they want an ESPN1 UK/Kansas game they will get it. In that case they will shuffle us off to a Texas or OK State game on the "Ocho". Decisions will be made based on projected viewership ratings and will have nothing to do with what should be the best match-ups.

From what I've come to understand there will be no UK/KU or Mizzou/KU.

    Looks like it's definitely Kansas...

"The schedule already in place includes a neutral site game against Duke in the Champions Classic. Duke is predicted to be a preseason top five and Coach K is one of the best in the business. Florida recently announced a home and home with Kansas that was very close to being finalized and that would see the Jayhawks heading to Gainesville next year to face a Gator team projected to be in the top 10. Florida has a good group returning and some very talented players coming in."

Thanks Gatorhead, still going to wait for the University to announce before putting it in the OP. Just don't want to risk putting up false information.

JohnC, here is a template for the conference games for you to add to the first post. We still don't know who will be in each bucket, except that we will only play once against Missouri, Georgia, Mississippi State and Arkansas because we played them twice this past season.

    SEC Games
    Home: four teams
    Away: four teams
Home and Away: Kentucky and four others

Might be worth adding to the above that we will fill a total of 13 non-conference games. So, there will be 5 in addition to the 8 listed above.

Do we have to give a return game to Marquette?
