Agree. I'm surprised/concerned about the twins also. Andrew especially, needs to wake up.

How do you shoot almost 40 free throws more than double MSU and lose?

Commit 17 turnovers against six assists and shoot 55% from the line and 20% from the arc.

Kentucky played like a bunch of freshman but clearly there is a ton of talent. I look forward to seeing Young and Harris taking turns guarding Randle later in the season. He will be a handful.

Proud of my Cats. They learned a lot tonight and we are going to have a great season. This will be like the 95 UK - UMASS game. They won the battle but we won the war.

"They won the battle, but we won the war" okay so just a cocky nonsensical comment. How did you "win the war" in the second game of the season with a loss?

I was speaking of the 1995 Kentucky basketball team that lost to UMASS early in the season but we beat them in the final four. Please try to read what I say and not make it a pissing contest very single time.

Thats quite a reach back into the time machine there. Bet you had that cooked up just for tonight in case of a loss.

I misread his first post but still find it funny reaching back to 1995 to brush off a loss and say a team full of freshmen in 2013 is going to have a great season

Someone around here wondered if UK would have a PG again this year. I am sure they will develop as players this year. I am not sure either one will become they guy you want to be your PG at least this year.

Borntobe- in 95 we were ranked #1 and lost to #2 UMASS. We had suspect guard play in that game and lost, meaning that UMASS won that battle. Later on in the year we beat UMASS in the Final Four and won the title meaning we won the war.

It relates to me because we have great talent who will only get better and I expect to see MSU again and beat them.

Did you notice that Randle had 8 turnovers against Michigan State?

    http://scores.espn.go.com/ncb/boxscore?gameId=400506311

So yes he had some really good positive numbers, but you have that big a negative and your game was not as good as it appeared at first glance.

A team full of freshman almost beat the number two team in November. I can guarantee UK has more room for growth this season than the Spartans. Yeah, I think they'll have a great season. Not a Cal or UK fan but that's the way I see it.
