    actually he isn't

the dramatic debt increase was largely due to the financial crisis

didn't help that he started at $10 trillion in the whole, which was accumulated during a time of relative economic ease, until the end

    cause and effect Bill

Do you really need data for this or could you just use your brain and figure out Marthas Vineyard costs just a little more than staying at your own ranch?

Maybe you can call the government and have them help you answer, you need them in your life for everything else, right?

In addition to the actual cost, how about the image the trip projects? Did Barry routinely vacation on MV prior to his coronation?

Yeah, the furloughs are petty! The lack of leadership in this administration is mind boggling.

im not asking for one 8 day vacation to Martha's Vineyard versus the exact same vacation time to Crawford TX

give data showing Obama is spending "way more" in comparison as a total thus far

There wasn't a sequester when Bush vacationed.

I never claimed to have "outrage".

Most of the people claiming it to be an issue on this thread aren't just lamenting the nature of the vacations, but the timing and the cost.

I do recall W sopped playing golf after 9/11. You'd think with the sequester O would do the same. For Biden to go home on Friday, go play golf in Washington and back to Delaware 10-15 times a year at $20,000 per round of golf is just rubbing it in your face.

    http://www.newsmax.com/RonaldKessler/Biden-weekend-travel-Air-Force-Two/2012/06/04/id/441168

Biden leaves every Friday from Joint Base Andrews, so he gets lifts from the observatory via Marine Two to Andrews Air Force Base, takes off via Air Force Two, lands in Delaware, and stays the weekend and then comes back on Sunday nights,” says a Secret Service agent familiar with the trips.

“Every three or four weeks when it’s warm, he gets up there on Saturday and then will fly back on Air Force Two,” the agent says. “While Air Force Two is sitting on the tarmac at Andrews, he goes and plays golf with the president at Andrews Air Force Base, gets back on the plane, and flies back to Delaware. Let me tell you something, that is egregious.”

Besides that, “The Secret Service rents condos in Wilmington because his schedule is so fluid and never concrete enough to properly prepare for his visits to Delaware,” the agent says. “So they keep a fully staffed Secret Service advance team in Delaware in condominiums that we lease so that when he does these things back and forth to D.C., they’re up there ready for him to arrive.”

True. It does look like President Bush stopped playing golf after 9/11. More than 2 years after.

Bush didn't view himself as above the people, either.

Yeah right. What in God's name has your President been doing then? Lets see, he completely failed as a job creator, rarely meeting with his job's council(?); we have more than ever on food stamps, etc; he's working his political ass off to legalize another 10 to 20 million who will need all kinds of help and support over the coming decades; thanks to his precious Obamacare employers are doing mostly hiring part timers; don't even get me started his debt creation and the job numbers lately. FAILURE.

I guess from your point of view he's been outstanding? Yes, Bush was bad, really bad on a couple fronts. But you have to be a naive moron to defend this President considering how much he's failed to lead and build. God bless the American people for good results despite your President.
