This county judge must not have all her marbles. She has to be a little off and should be taken off the bench. Any one this nutty has no business ruling on any case.

She says obama came riding in on his big white horse and all by his lonesome saved the car business (with tax payer money) and to allow this BK would dishonor him.

"“It’s also not honoring the (United States) president, who took (Detroit’s auto companies) out of bankruptcy.”

Aquilina said she would make sure President Obama got a copy of her order.

“I know he’s watching this,” she said, predicting the president ultimately will have to take action to make sure existing pension commitments are honored.

So, the judge is a genuine fruitcake? Someone show me anywhere in the bankruptcy code, any bankruptcy code, where the terms of a bankruptcy have to "honor" the President of the United States?

Tip O'Neil said "all politics are local." so this judge is just assuring her next reelection. The fact she did what she did is what will be remembered, not that it will be overturned.

That is if she survives it from a professional licensing standpoint. I'd like to think the Michigan Bar has a bit more dignity than suffering that.

This column is in the comments for the article, but I'll link to its original source. It's from Mark Steyn --

This jester...err... judge is a county employee. Her rant is not even legally acceptable as pertinent to the BK.

    One glaring question?
How the hell do dumbasses like this get to be a judge of anything?

I'll bet she started as a union representative.
