Announcers are like the rest of us, they get excited about the underdog. Also, basketball is a fast paced, difficult game to announce. Sometimes things are overlooked.

Heard him say UF is built like a tourney team to make a deep run. Reguardless of what happened during the season. That last sentence was close to what he said.

He also took the time to compliment Florida on its well- rounded athletic program while talking up Foley.

Maybe they've deserved some critique in the last several years. He certainly hasn't been as harsh as several gator fans on this site.

I've never claimed "everyone hates us". Brando has sure been negative towards us though and dating back a lot longer than just the last two years.

Every fan base thinks that the announcers hate their favorite team. Go on some rival sites, and you'll see the same paranoia. Sorry, I just don't buy that these professional announcers have overwhelming biases. They don't commentate in a vacuum. If they consistently showed the bias that you're talking about, they'd be talked to and it would stop.

I think that's laughable. Various announcers clearly do have biases in favor of or against certain teams. Its not any secret to anybody who listens to the broadcasts.

Why don't you capture all of these anti-gator comments from him next year and create a "9/11Loose Change" style YouTube video to show everyone what you're talking about. I'm sure you exposing this conspiracy to the world could open a lot of eyes. You could call this movement the Brando Truthers.

Yes, he complimented us, but he is so busy with his stories he can't get the game straight.

He had no idea the differnce between Scottie. Mike and Casey all game.

He also said that after the 2000 FF and then a couple of NIT's Billy got it right. And won a couple of NC's...what?!

Or maybe its just that Brando has a bias against UF....oh but I guess that's just beyond the realm of possibility. You know, since announcers are not like any other mere mortals with biases of their own or anything. Good thing you were here to expose the total implausibility of the idea of mediots having any personal biases or anything...
