This guy spent $45,000 on a marriage proposal

Trickle down economics. Every penny the world can get away from these folks and into regular folks hands is a good thing.

Some folks have way too much money. Why not just make a pile of it in the back yard and set it on fire? It would have been just as useful.
This delta bravo may spend his dough any way he sees fit, after all it's his dough. I hope he understands this is just the start of it.

I don't see what the big deal is if the guy is rich. The $45k included the price of the engagement ring and a vacation to Greece and France. Spending money on a professional story writer was stupid though. However, the guy runs an advertisement company so I think part of this was just for the publicity.

Of course he can spend his money anyway he chooses but one gets the sense there is a some self- promotion going on here. The other question is was doing this for her or doing this for himself? Either way, lame.
As for the trip, I am all for that.

I have newfound respect for the honest street walkers. The only free sex for men in this world is prison rape.
