Feel great about the front four, with Easley playing primarily inside. Feel pretty good about LB. No question Morrison will be a disruptive force at Mike, but not sure we'll be as solid across the board has last year. The secondary is a puzzle. They will be very good, but it's hard to put the pieces in place right now. The projected lineup has some really small guys at safety and is not accounting for either of the last two recruiting classes. Maye, Neal and Harris could all be in the mix. Doesn't sound like Ledbetter is working out well at FB, so he will probably be back at safety as well. Anxious to see if Showers can finally break through this spring. He's our fastest DB. Be nice to have someone with Reggie Nelson wheels back there for deep routes.

Still would like to see Showers in the slot. 2 Years ago i said he and Purifoy were are best WR's and hope to see both on offense. Well got it allmost right as Purifoy is maybe our best WR but won't be full time.
If Showers is not in 2 deep move him....

You are correct, sir. If there is any area of concern in the secondary it is at safety, not corner. Need Maye and Gorman to step up (w/ Riggs, Poole pushing them).
Not sure why everyone is listing Watkins at safety, he is a corner and is listed there opposite Roberson on depth chart right now.

There could be a few reasons for people liking Watkins at Safety.
- He has SEC experience - having guys out there who recognize what teams are doing and can just go play without thinking too much is a big deal. Of course, Riggs and Gorman would be candidates for that reason, too.
- He has pretty good size and should have good range back there.
- VHIII is thought to be real likely to win a starting CB job in the Fall.
We do have a lot of talent at safety though, so I don't really have any clue who'll win out except what coaches say, and it sounds like they're high on Riggs right now.

we play Miami week 2 I can not see us starting or even playing any freshmen at the safety spot. I am not sure why people are so worried about the size of our safeties in college. Maye could def get in the mix.
I think the real reason we brought in those big safeties besides that fact they are good is because you will see us play Dime more in the coming years and we will need the size for dime.

Is LB Rolin a go for fall camp? Just he and Alex A. Only LB's out for spring and summer?

Yes, they are the only LBs that are out for Spring...and both are expected back for Fall camp. Ball, J. Powell, Kitchens, Morrison, & McMillan are the current (scholarship) LBs. R. Powell, I would imagine is playing some LB as well.

Not worried about this D. I think they will get better with every game. Our offense HAS to be noticeably better for us to go 11-2 again and with some breaks...have a chance at the end. I like Riggs at safety and neiron ball at olb but agree with everything else.

Cox got moved to DE and is not playing Buck. I look forward to seeing him play. He's got big shoes to fill and has been around the game his whole life. I look for him to be a great DE for us.
(and thanks for the reminder I missed Taylor. I think he gets a bad rap sometimes and will be just fine once he settles in as a starter).

Maybe I'm drinking the koolaid on the kid, but I just can't see VH3 not starting by midseason. He's the most ready TF corner I think we've ever had at UF.

concern is to be expected. We never know until we play. I think the defense will be very sound.. Very. Corner back will be a true strength.

still dont get it you saw him play an all star game and now think he is going to supplant guys who have been playing college corner for years and will be in the NFL soon?

In recent Gatorvision interviews, Jeremy Brown says Morrison is looking great, Jalen Watkins says the Gorman has looked very good, and Muschamp was very complementary of Cummings.

If I had to put my money on it Powell will continue to play Buck dont get where this obsession to move Powell to LB is coming from.
