Spread is 20.5. Not always the best indicator, but we should crush 'em. Haven't seen an over/under yet.

We went to the Elite 8 last year and the year before. Neither one of those years did we did we win the SEC tournament. Two years ago we won the SEC Season championship. The two years we won National Championships, we also won the SEC tournament.

I think we beat them fairly easily. However, I think we are going to have a tough time with UCLA should they win vs Minnesota. I really don't like that we have to potentially play them for the 4th time in the past 6 trips to the big dance.

They score so much because they run a lot. When you run that much, you sacrifice defense. Sacrificing defense against a team with as many shooters as we have is suicide. Plus their high octane offense is going to have to work against our diverse defense.
They also average 14 turnovers a game against not great competition because of how they play. We frequently force the opposition into more turnovers than their average. They turn it over more than 14 times against us, they're all kinds of screwed.
Honestly I'm not sure they could have drawn a worse match-up.

We absolutely could if we ever played at that pace. Since we're one of the slowest teams in the NCAAs, we don't do it often. Pace matters a lot in basketball.

I just heard Joe Lenardo say he thinks the Gators go to the title game and lose. He thinks the Gators are one of the top 4 teams in the country. He says every time he says this the Gators lose to a mediocre SEC team, but...we don't play any other SEC teams. I'd post a link but for some reason goggle news ...oh well, I am a bit technically challenged.

Why? I won't be worried, but I don't expect it to be a cakewalk either. However, if our 3s aren't falling, it could be a long evening if theirs are, which of course is true every game.
An O/U of 139 should favor us with an under. I wouldn't want a shoot-out like they had with LSU.

We are not playing well enough to consider anyone a cakewalk. This team is only one seed lower than Ole Miss. Higher seeds go down all the time; I would not be all that surprised if we turn out to be one of them.

We will destroy NW State by 25. The game will basically be over at halftime.
Their flashy high-scoring offense will hit the wall...HARD...against the Gators.

I am not worried this year because our team defense. So unless Northwestern pulls a Norfolk State and makes every shot known to man, we will win this by 25+.

If we win by 30 does it really mean anything, other than winning the game? Past performance shows we can blow anybody out, then come back and have trouble in a close game. I would like to see us win at least 3 games in the tourney, everything after that will be icing on the cake.

I am not worried about this game--but will remind you of this score:
#14 Northwestern State 64
# 3 Iowa 63
2006 tourney.
We can not take anyone lightly and I am sure BD will remind the team of this game. The head coach at Northwestern is the same. They played 11 players in that game.
