2 calls that changed the game

Up 8 Murphy's layup is an obvious goal tend no call and Henderson gets the break out 3...a five point swing. Next possession for Ole Miss...Wilbekin with a clean block on the Henderson 3 and the official standing next to Kennedy makes a terrible foul call as Scottie is going to get a layup. 3 more free throws and now the game is a 2pts. game. It is so frustrating...unfortunately we don't have a team with the mental psyche to overcome the adversity. The other thing is how do you not get a player to get into Henderson's head...the dude is a powder keg ready to explode and he should have had a couple of T's from the officials who didn't have the guts to ring him up...Joe Lindsay I'm talking to you. We need someone on this team that has some nastiness that would have mixed it up with him.

Did anyone else notice a couple obvious balls that Miss clearly touched before it went out that they called wrong before another official changed it? Something was up today, but they still had a shot at the end and like clockwork they wet their pants.

You mean like the one where no Gator player was anywhere near touching the ball and the ref called it out on us, but the replay clearly showed the Ole Miss player lost it on his own? I was about to go crazy if that didn't get overturned.

This is absurd. The officials did not cost us the game. We just lost a half of basketball to OlePiss by 15 points and you want to blame the refs? Whiners.

Just make shots when it counts down the stretch in close games, including free throws. That's what cost us.

2 missed/bad calls by the refs directly led to a 10 point difference in the score. They didn't cause us to lose the game, but it is a difference in the game.

2. (shoudl've been) obvious charge on Henderson that Murphy took. 2 pts
3. (should've been) obvious foul going over Will's back to tip ball out to Henderson for long rainbow 3. 3 pts

10 pt difference on no calls that should've been obvious to any decent officiating crew.

The refs were awful but we get what we deserved. Played right into OM and the refs hands. Same way we did in the last 2 elite 8's.

Also, I actually think the last foul of the game was a terrible call as an official. The player just reached across and Scottie blew by him no problem to get a wide open 3 and the official called it because he assumed Ole Miss was fouling. The official never would have called that a foul at any other time during the game yet you make the call to give the advantage to the team that is actually committing the foul!

Yeah, they were calling ticky tack fouls on us all game and it took intentional fouls for us to get to the stripe.

Not sure I agree - not when you get as much of the ball as Wilbekin did. He blocked the ball and had the touch contact well afterwards. I don't think that usually gets called.
