Interesting that you bring up Noah (arguably one of our best bigs ever) and Noel (first pick in the draft) as comparisons.
A little unfair.

Billy's recruiting philosophy has always been to go after really raw but athletic big center who can run the court and defend. Very rarely are they offensively skilled.
He also likes the stretch fours.

I'm certainly not well-versed in BB, but what I saw was a team with no one willing to take a risk bringing it to the paint and driving to the basket. Opportunities were there on numerous occasions...seems like they're thinking rather then just doing. Other facets of the game were decent, although, depending on threes seems risky too. It would appear that if we have trouble beating Ole Miss, going deep into the tourney would be difficult as well. Then again, I guess that's why we play the game. Go Gators. Rise to the occasion.

It's more that we don't have a viable drive and dish game than anything else. When you have guards who don't like to drive, defenders can stick their men down low like glue.

They couldn't get into the paint, and we they did, they got raped by Ole Miss. No way a 6'2" guard is going to bull his way through 2 or 3 6' 8" guys. No way.

Now if we could put Rosario's tenacity into PY and Murphy, we would win the NC.
