Wanna talk about a meltdown against Louisville...
Syracuse just totally melted down and blew a 16-pt lead in the 2nd half in a game that they had completely under control and now are losing by 11 in the Big East championship game.

Am I remembering incorrectly, or were we linked to Montrezl Harrell at some point? He's having a hell of a game.

Most impressive stretch of b-ball I've seen from anyone this year. Syracuse was having a great tourney, a great first half, and in complete control of this game. I know Southerland picked up #4 and had to sit, but Jesus did Louisville just maul them over a 13 minute stretch. I want no part of Louisville. Please put the Gators in anyone else's bracket. I do not think we would handle their press very well. It is intense. That school seems to have our # anyway.

Louisville's defense is what did this. That full-court pressure is the best I've seen this century. Syracuse had what, 5 or 6 turnovers in 7 possessions and it got worse from there. Louisville had 22 points in the 1st half and scored 56 in the 2nd.

This is true. Louisville's press is super effective when the refs refuse to call fouls.

Very physical game, which is the norm in college ball these days. Refs called a consistent game both ways. Too bad for Syracuse they can't shoot FT's. That's another thing Louisville has in their favor. They are pretty deep with versatile, interchangeable players. It's amazing that they lost 3 straight a while back. They are certainly peaking at the right time.

They are long and athletic, have a play making point guard, aggressive big men, sharp shooters and a hall of fame coach. Reminds me of our championship teams. They could have won it all last year except for Kentucky's nba team.

We were supposedly in the hunt for him after he decided that he wasn't going to attend Virginia Tech, after Greenberg was canned.
We did get DFS though....

The refs allowed a lot of contact. It didn't make for typical basketball game & played to Louisville's strengths.
