His name is Ron Alexander. He actually cost us the game in the first inning. The ground ball to Kelsey Stewart in the middle of the 1st inning was called wrong, although it was must closer than the call in the 8th. They showed the replay on television. Tennessee would not have scored that one run in the first, and we would have won 1-0 in 7 innings. The call in the 8th was unbelievable. Replays showed Merritt's foot was on the bag while the throw was 5-10 feet away from the first basemans glove.

2 teams are very even. Would expect Hannah vs. Ellen tomorrow. Too bad the game is the same time as the bball game. Win or lose, this team is a contender and pretty special to watch and root for. The team has incredible chemistry and you can see that just by watching them play.

The most irritating thing was the espnu announcers bringing up and mentioning the 3 idiots from last season. That, and the ump, but whatever. Win tomorrow and take the series and it is a successful weekend.

Could not agree more. The one thing I didn't need to see was the three faces of Coyle, Fagan, and Fagan splashed on the screen during play by play. Interviewing the co-head coach from LSU by phone(about her surgery) while play was going on was bad enough. ESPNU always puts their own agenda first, and the game itself, second.
