They don't deserve it, but they will be in IMO

Kentucky would need a LOT of help to get in. Remember Lunardi said that the caveat with UK is how the committee views Noel's loss and that this isn't easy to predict. I'm not hopeful but, remember, you don't have to be worthy of making the tournament, just more worthy than the competition.

So many Cats fans with sad faces. Lots of tickets on the ground outside the arena.

So...how is it that Nashville gets to host so many tournaments? It's time to move this thing around more.

That took UF's RPI from 0.6444 to 0.6438, so it may hurt us a little - perception is everything & the higher the RPI the better chance of getting a #2.

Couldn't happen to a better program.

Centrally located. I'd love to see it in Tampa or Orlando.

The committee shouldn't have a bias towards marketable teams. As far as I know, they never see any of the money that is made in the tournament, so why would they care? If Kentucky gets in, it will be because things fall their way from here on out.
On a side note, lots of good things happened for the Gators today. Georgetown lost, Marquette lost, Duke lost, and Michigan lost. If we win the SEC Tournament, I bet we jump everyone on that list aside from Duke.

The problem is that they can't sell out.

I saw replays of the UF loss at Kentucky like 50 times on Saturday.
Haven't seen any on the win today.

I'd love a screenshot of those two KY fans with the facepaint and blue mohawks shown at the end of the broadcast! It will be a long walk back to the hotel (which you have booked thru Sunday).

I haven't seen any UF-LSU highlights, except on ESPNU, which is televising the SEC tournament. Haven't seen any elsewhere on ESPN.

Well we got exactly what we deserved an ass beating and it couldn't happen to a better UK team that deserved that fate. They have refused to listen and believe in one another. Vandy wanted the game more with 50-50 balls and smarter play.
I've never enjoyed this team but we have no one to blame but ourselves!! We do not deserve to go to the NCAA tourney and I hope we don't.
Next year will be very fun, but it doesn't help the hurt tonight. This season has taught me patience and to realize its just a damn game and it is so inconsequential in the game of life. It's a great night to kiss my daughter as she watched it with me, but I'm so glad she won't remember a play of it! I haven't read the thread but I'm sure most are thrilled and I can't blame you towards the end I was as well knowing this year is almost over!!

I just saw way too much street ball play out of UK tonight. I understand pushing it up the floor in transition on missed shots, since Goodwin is so athletic that he can almost score at will in those situations. The half court offense that I saw (from the 14 minute point of the second half to the end) was absolutely abysmal. They had very little ball movement, lazy passes, etc.
While he may not admit it, I think Cal makes some adjustments to how he coaches some of these one and doners and even starts to look at the attitude of some of these potential recruits. I don't care what WWW or some of these AAU coaches say about some of these super hyped kids, but in the end, he has to coach them and this season couldn't have been very much fun at all.

They weren't just beaten, but smashed. A team that can score in the final 8 mins can kill these cats.
But the ncaa will let them in. Good for ratings. And seriously, besides uf and mizzou does the secdeserve another team?

Well they beat the Gators recently, so I will not revel in their defeat.........much anyway.
This is not good for the SEC which sucks and probably is not good for the one and done perception either, which is a positive in my opinion.
