Yes sir! I remember playing Evil Dead games when I was little lol! I thought they were zombies on Evil Dead? Either way this looks like a bad ass movie.

No the original was also about demonic possession. Going to be hard to replace Bruce Campbell

For sure. But this one still looks pretty cool. I think he's supposed to make a cameo.

I am cautiously optimistic. I wasn't wild about the choice of director, but Bruce and Raimi have had a big influence on the movie as producers supposedly. Also, if I remember correctly, they have had to cut the film multiple times for the MPAA bc it kept getting an NC-17 rating. Supposedly the first few screenings lately have said it is violently graphic and gory.

Of other news, Raimi is planning to work with his brother on Evil Dead 4 (I imagine it starring Bruce) after his brother asking him what the hell was he waiting on bc fans have been asking for it.

A little trivia -- Evil Dead 1 was filmed right outside Knoxville in Morristown, TN

Just watched that red band trailer for the first time... Yeah I'd say it is a little bloody lol looks like the ridiculous blood from the 2nd but with a serious tone. Pleasantly surprised. I wish it was a little darker (the light outside) --- granted it was just a trailer -- but I feel like the first one was very atmospheric. Has been awhile, maybe I need to rewatch.

Looks good. Big fan of the girl in the lead. It just seems like that was a fun movie to make and we need some good horror movies.
