Sure you don't have latent lawyering tendencies in there somewhere ?
Anyway, I disagree with your interpretation of the rules. If the pro bono Rule Police's questioning of the allegedly offending post had found that the taboo words were employed, such that they accused a certain poster of being a F*****, a Q****, or even G*, that would clearly be a violation of the Rules.
However, one could be worried about whether G** men die 20 years earlier than S******* men for a number of reasons other than a purely personal concern: continued political debate; scientific study; verification of sources; and other reasons not necessarily personal. Thus, multiple inferences may be drawn from someone noticing another being concerned about a link to such a study.
And hey, there is nothing inherently wrong with posting a laughing (not unnaturally gay, mind you) emoticon in a post either. Unless the rules have been modified since I last looked.
See, being G** is really serious, not gay at all, and that would most certainly be insulting if anyone dare accuse anyone else of being G**.
Thus, to address your concerns, one could validly remark, "lighten up Francis." Or, would that be "Frank?"

"Summary
The age distribution of AIDS deaths of males who have sex with males [MSM] was estimated from obituaries in the Washington Blade, a gay newspaper. Statistics from the 2003 HIV/AIDS Surveillance Supplemental Report are highly congruent with deaths of MSM due to AIDS from these obituaries. Death due to AIDS in old age was most frequent for heterosexuals and least frequent for MSM who were drug abusers. Obituaries in the Washington Blade are thus consistent with and may be representative of deaths due to AIDS among MSM. The latest CDC report tends to strengthen the overall finding based upon obituaries: that the lifespan of MSM is shortened two to three decades by AIDS and, possibly, other causes."

Try that again. The study you linked to was for the years 1987 to 1992, when the AIDS epidemic was its height. The HIV death rate was nine times higher then than it is now. That's data.

You're right, if we're going to "play by the words," you didn't violate this:

Just as it wouldn't be a violation if I said that I believe your tacit "rejection" of and defensiveness toward homosexuality indicated that you might be ... light in your loafers, so to speak. All in good fun, right?

I'm not taking it too seriously, I just find it plummets the level of discourse when we resort to de facto middle school insults. Seems wholly unnecessary.

I just gave you data from the CDC. Go argue with them.

No. I don't do the River dance. There is a principle about those who have contempt for the question not being willing to accept the answer.

So popular phrases, sports jargon, misspellings, and mother goose rhymes are on your pro bono prohibited list also ?
Sieg . . . . whatever, Bob.

[Actually, that would be an insult, capable of only one, direct interpretation; that would differ from the instant circumstance currently under review, where multiple inferences may be drawn from a statement.]

Also I was just saying that you were probably in good physical shape. Not sure how you could have confused that.

I believe it is 2003. You may also find this article interesting.
"Paul Denning from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) reviewed data that demonstrates a very disturbing trend in men who have sex with men (MSM) in the United States. There are over 500,000 MSM (homosexual men) with HIV infection reported through June 1999 - more than any other risk group. HIV prevalence rates among cohorts of MSM in San Francisco and Seattle approach 10%, and there is abundant evidence that after years of declining incidence of STDs in MSM, rates have been increasing in many cities over the past 4 years. Rates of rectal gonorrhea and chlamydia have essentially doubled in Seattle, Chicago, Portland and Washington, DC. Is the stage being set for a resurgence of HIV transmission in MSM? The preponderance of evidence says yes. The increase in STDs reflects high-risk behavior, and this is also associated with increased HIV transmission rates. It is likely that increases in HIV prevalence in those (gay men) populations will be seen.
HIV sentinel surveillance and reinvigorated prevention interventions among MSM are urgently needed. Source: Denning PH, " Is the stage being set for a resurgence in the HIV epidemic among men who have sex with men? " Programs and abstracts of the 7th Conference on Retroviruses and Opportunistic Infections, January 30th - February 2, 2000; San Francisco, Calf., Abstract 30S."
The homosexual demographic is not a healthy population and all the PC propaganda in the world won't change that.

Well, in today's day and age, depending on what State you live in, being "married" doesn't really mean much in this regard.
