Lacrosse takes on the Lehigh Mountain Hawks who play in the Patriot League. Lehigh comes here with a 2-3 record.

After some work at it, Gators take the opening draw. No score. Lehigh has the ball for a minute. No score and we recover a fumble. Gators strike 1st at 3 minutes into the game. Score by Gabi Wiegand.

I'll say one thing for Lehigh, they're short. Lacrosse players are not real tall, maybe our team average is 5'7, but we just tower over Lehigh. While I'm typing this another score by Nicole Graziano. Gators 7-0

Lehigh with the ball after a failed shot on goal. Their attack stops when the player slips and drops the ball. Gators back on offense and a beautiful pass from Lea to Barry is goal #8.

Sam Darcangelo does this draw instead of Shannon. Lehigh controls, but our defense is frustrating them. They don't even get a shot on goal until the refs give them a free shot - which Mikey blocks. Gators back on offense. Lehigh goalie with a couple of great saves until Sam Darcangelo gets goal #10.

Sam (who is a freshman by the way) does the draw again and a quick goal by Graziano. Lehigh controls this draw. Mikey blocks the shot and we recover.

We have 12 seniors, 3 juniors, 4 sophs and 12 freshman. Lauren Lea scores. Lehigh had the ball but turned it over. Score #14 by FR Darcy Messina.

All our seniors are on the sideline except Mikey the goalie. Couple of great saves by Mikey. 2 seconds left in the half and Lehigh gets a free shot - which Mikey blocks. The fans go, "She's a brick . . . house!" At the half, Gators 14-0.
