No complaints here. A little surprised they went with Caldwell-Pope for POY instead of Henderson, but I guess Mississippi's late swoon worked against Henderson, and I suspect KCP is a choice that has much less chance of looking odd in a few years.

Congrats to everyone. Nice to see Billy D get some recognition.
And good on the voters going with Noel still as freshman of the year. Definitely deserves it.

Surprised Henderson didn't even make first team
I think Wilbekin should have been 2nd team also.

Hate to see Yeguete get overlooked, but I think it's the nature of the beast and that he wouldn't have gotten any recognition even if he hadn't been injured. He's MY 6th man of the year, however!

I suspect KY has Freshman of the Year locked up until Cal is no longer there.

One thing that this and a lot of the anonymous scouting reports and other related things we've read recently makes clear: if there's one player on our team who most scares the other guys, it's Murphy. Coaches seem terrified of the mis-matches Erik presents.

Well deserved, for everyone. Billy should get it 5 years in a row just to make it even. That really is great about Patrick. He's a great ambassador for UF

I assume you're referring to Wilbekin. Wilbekin was playing so well for a while that some around here were thinking he might have a shot at POY. I didn't think that was likely, but I understood where they were coming from given SW's shut-down defense coupled with a quite a few games where he was running our offense well and scoring.

Scottie or Pat should have made defensive POY given Noel has missed half the season
