Prior to last season, his missed three games in three seasons. I'm just hoping he can find the right chemistry in Seattle. The dude is seriously a great FB player.
So if we don't believe that he's a headache, why would they trade him unless they don't want to pay the freight? Is there another reason?
He's made it clear that he doesn't want to play there. Either trade him for a first rounder now, or wait and get nothing for him when his contract expires.

I have no idea if he is a headache or not, tho most all top notch WRs seem to be headaches, divas etc. Check back in the fall and see who is returning kicks and catching passes for the Vikes, hence my comment. Im not a fan of either team, but it looks to me like the Seahawks just got a whole lot better.
I don't know how many games he's missed, but he's piling up enough all purpose yardage every year to be on track for a Hall of Fame career. This year, he really blew up as a WR. The ankle was the first actual injury of his career. The headaches were sidelining him in previous seasons, but apparently that's been solved.
Don't know about the diva/locker room cancer thing. I've heard the stories, but they're all second hand. Have heard many first hand stories about how warm and gracious he is to fans.
Heard on Mike and Mike this morning that Harvin had more Yards After Catch in his nine games this season than all the Seattle receivers combined for the entire year. Seattle is a very good fit. It makes you wonder about the cancer in the locker room stories when the face of the Vikings, Adrian Peterson, says that he is sick to his stomach about the trade.
It is not desirable to cultivate a respect for the law, so much as for the right....
Law never made men a whit more just; and, by means of their respect for it,
even the well-disposed are daily made agents of injustice.
