First of our three games vs FSU. FSU comes in undefeated, 15-0. Interesting to see what the strategy will be with pitching. We have just this one mid-week game before we start conference play on Friday.

Luke Weaver will start for FSU. He has had a great start to the season with 21Ks, 1BB and opponents are hitting .105 against him in 14ip.

He was up and down last year but with a good start on Tuesday should make his way into the weekend rotation for FSU.

I fear we are going to get spanked. I assume this game is in Gainesville?

Would love to get just one win out this series with FSU this year, but FSU seemed to recover a lot better from their personnel losses from last year than we did. They're just a better team than we are this year.

My only ray of hope in this game is the fact that the FSU SOS is ranked #207 while ours is ranked #14.

We have played a decent schedule thus far and FSU has not. That said, we have losses to some pretty poor team.

They also don't have anyone named Schwarber on their team. I think he did most of the damage this weekend for Indiana.

Florida should be fired up to play their rival too, I still think noles dominate the series this year. They have a solid team.

I say this every year, and will repeat it... Martin is really gung-ho about beating his in-state rivals, especially the Gators.

I've watched FSU just whip us like nobody's business a number of times in recent years when we had the better team. FSU will be sky-high and mentally focused for UF tomorrow.

Hopefully, we'll come out swinging hard and get some runs early and put FSU in a hole and make them play catch-up and go through a few pitchers, because that's what they like to do, and they do it well when they play us.

I don't really see SWAC having much of a chance in this one. Other than the fact that we've trailed in 15 of our first 17 games, I think things are starting to come together.

The good thing about baseball is that there's a greater chance at an upset than other sports. Bats go cold for a few innings, or get hot, an odd bounce here or a hit batter there, and a game can shift.

In recent years we've had the better of the girl's school. At 15-0, they have a better team of record this year. Means little when we take the field.

A win could boost our kids' confidence for sure.
