I sent my SAT scores and application to one institution -- there was no second choice. Failure was not an option.

Never gave it much thought. Just grew up seeing the Gators and that was what I wanted to be associated with. Win or lose.

LSU. Next best thing in the SEC to me. Plus I know the area.

Tough question. If it's just about fate, I might have been raised in a Bama household. My mom's family went back generations there, including a couple of players and their current AD. She and her brother broke the tradition, partly because their parents moved from Montgomery to Blountstown in 1932.
My dad's from the New Haven area, went to Colgate but became a Gator while in flight school. If we had settled up north instead of Florida, I'd have been a Red Raider or maybe a Bulldog. Yale, not UGA.
If it was purely my choice, I'd probably still be a Gator. There's certainly not another SEC team I could follow. Possibly some team in the Big 10, since I live up here, but game day just isn't the same in the midwest or probably anywhere else.

Never cared for FSU or scUM. However, I have always liked the Tide. Also, I love Saban's style of football. Straight up hard nosed football. Which is why I love Muschamp.
If no Gators, I have to go with Tide.

When I came to UF on exchange, I had a few options. One was in Canada (BC), I also definitely had the opportunity to go to Purdue or Illinois. I believe North Carolina was an option too!
I knew UF was where I wanted to be though. Glad it worked out that way!

If the scenario is that UF doesn't exist. Being born and raised in Gainesville I would go with the closest team....don't make me write it plz.

It would be a step down rooting for ucf but I agree, that is a lot better than several alternatives.

UCF didn't have a team when I was growing up so it would have to be the other one N.W. from G'ville
