That's research from people who watch the show.
I do not.
I guess Behar announced she was leaving the show last week and given BaBa WaWa's health recently its expected she will retire after this season also.
That leaves the two African-Americans....Maybe they move it to BET?

I strongly suspect that lots of women who might ordinarily vote conservative nevertheless prefer to watch liberal women on talk shows.

I caught Kathy Lee and that other woman on their show yesterday. (At least I thought they had their own show, but it said "Today" behind them.) They were having a exciting discussion about washing dishes. The question arose as to whether to put forks sticking up or down. Kathy said that if you leave them sticking up "you can fork yourself."

Well on a show primarily geared primarily toward women, the eye candy is the guests, not the hosts.

Dudes. You're not the target audience for this show anymore than your wife is for SportsCenter. Millions of women watch religiously and as I noted, among them was my conservative republican mother who especially liked Whoopie - I can't even begin to explain why and don't have a clue. The producers don't care what we think about it, but obviously it speaks to millions of women viewers.

Yeah, if the producers of The View cared what we thought, it would be hosted by Erin Andrews, Jenn Brown, and some random ladies from the "Sideboob" threads on the Pub.

I would point out that the ladies of "The Five" are obviously better looking women than the remaining panel on "The View", but frankly, the gentlemen on "The Five" are better looking women than the remaining panel on "The View".
