Is that how he gets cheerleaders?

LOL!... Pretty sure he could be on foot, with no possible wheels, and they'd be lining up.

Might I suggest 4-wheeled, motorized golf-carts! At least then you can put roll-bars and cages in there for 'em. I think maybe even I could have handled one of them when I was in school. Heck, I even did damage with a bicycle,,,,after many hours at the PUB, etc. I'm sure it was in the water or something!

Scooter thefts aren't uncommon. Someone stole Ian Silberman's scooter.

Good catch, poor reading comprehension on my part. Although in my defense I think the statement isn't worded the best "Dunker, a red-shirt freshman from Boynton Beach High School, was cited for unknowingly driving with a suspended license last week, according to Alachua County court records." makes it sound like something new.
I agree if this was part of the same incident it's not really all that big of a deal.

UF football player violates terms of jail release
A Florida Gators football offensive lineman could be in legal trouble after Gainesville Police issued a citation that violated the terms of a previous jail release.
Jessamen Dunker, 20, received the citation Feb. 28 for unknowingly driving with a suspended license after a GPD officer pulled him over for speeding in the 3000 block of Southwest 35th Place, said GPD Spokesman Officer Ben Tobias.
This isn’t Dunker’s first brush with the law. On Jan.16, University Police charged Dunker with driving with a suspended license and grand theft auto after an officer ran the scooter’s make and model and discovered it was reported stolen, according to Alligator archives.
Dunker was released from the Alachua County Jail Jan. 17 under an agreement that he wouldn’t drive with a suspended license, among other stipulations, according to court records.
Coach Will Muschamp said Tuesday that his staff is aware of Dunker’s legal situation but wouldn’t provide further details on Dunker’s return to the team for the upcoming season.
“He’s been suspended,” Muschamp said. “I haven’t had any communication (with Dunker).”

Now, here's the question, how does one get charged with " unknowingly driving with a suspended license" on Feb. 28th after having been arrested on Jan. 16th for "driving with a suspended license"?

It looks to me like the Alligator reporter was sloppy in connecting those dots. What the heck is he driving?
In any case, if they a charge him with a felony then he's in deep trouble with the law and with the program. I don't think the misdemeanor adds much fuel to the fire, though a separate subsequent one is indeed worse because of the emerging pattern.
"Unknowingly" may mean that he had not been served notice of the suspension. It's no excuse for breaking the law but it might be a mitigating factor in the consequences to be imposed.

Theology, I respectfully disagree.
We are all at the mercy of blogger-type quality info in today's internet reporting, so we must consider that in coming to conclusions.
The POST blog states in the next to last sentence that S.A. Cervone is still investigating the TWO charges pending from the Jan. 16 jailing for stolen vehicle AND suspended license with release from jail w agreement to not further operate M.V. w/o a license.(this happened going into S. endzone of stadium.
It further states the incident of last week, ~Feb. 28, for UNKNOWINGLY OPERATING A M.V. WITH A SUSPENDED LICENSE resulted in a $148.00 CITATION.
Per the Alligator, this happened on the 3000 block of SW 35th Place last week. It APPEARS Mr. Dunker LIED to the GPD officer in the 2nd event and received a citation instead of arrest. Short term gain, long term PAIN.
Unless Huntley Johnson is a magician, this WILL NOT END WELL...

Ok - thanks for clarifying. I went back and looked again at the Post article and see how I misread it. My bad.
He's sliding away quickly.

LOL... Jeff's Mom e-mailed me a copy of the video of the interview. She sent it to me because Kyle (his roommate, and a basic unknown player at the time) was sitting on his scooter right next to Jeff during the interview!
