Damn it's hard to cheer for the poodles in anything. I'm hoping for a 10 overtime game so the Cats are exhausted and are still worn down Saturday.

These kind of thread titles baffle me.

A loss here would just about put Kentucky on life support. We'll have the opportunity to pull the plug on Saturday.

Rem, on Rupps Rafters, what are they talking about something is going on within the team? Did you know anything?

Going to make the game on Sunday more tougher for us. Not only is it their freshmen day, but they must beat us if Kentucky wants to make the big dance without winning the SEC Tourney.

We'll be confident and relaxed. They'll be tight.

The UF vs UK game is Saturday. UK gets the very fun Thur-Sat transition, so I'm sure they'll be a bit tired regardless of the outcome of this game. Of course the Satuday game is UK's senior day game so they'll be pumped and to act as a spoiler and be desperate to improve their resume so they've already got a lot of motivation. So win or lose today, I'm sure UK will come out motivated (but hopefully also a little gassed). ;-)

What a fun year of Kentucky basketball. Couldn't happen to a better program. Now lets make sure these bums are kept out of the tourney

All I know is the general rumor that there's "something" going on. Every few years rumors start circulating about something like this - especially years where the team underachieves.
Towards the end of Tubby's time there was a rumor like this which actually turned out to be true. During the year, Rondo knocked up Patrick Sparks girlfriend. That team was known throughout the year as being "team turmoil."
Based on the little I've heard about this year's team, I think it has more to do with a couple of the players and the coaching staff. Harrow and maybe another guy too. A couple weeks ago Cal made a cryptic comment after a game. He said something like "you know how I always say Kentucky isn't for everyone, I think we're finding out it isn't for a couple of these guys..." This stuff usually ends up becoming public knowlege and often just ends up being a chemistry issue, essentially.
The UK media guy propagating this is Matt Jones - who I think has better info about this team than anyone. Guys that Jeff listens too suggest that there will be a mass exodus of epic proportions after the season. These two rumors may be connected, who knows.
