Baby steps Gators, baby steps.
We know we can win, we just have to develop and play together some more to be consistent.
We aren't going to win a lot of series the first half of this season anyway, but we just need to improve as the season goes.

Gators are now 0-4 in games started by Jonathan Crawford. That just can't happen.

Probably the single most disapointing aspect of the season thus far. Part of it is lack of run support, part of it is they din't take him deep into games first couple of times out, but mostly he just hasn't pitched like the Friday ace that UF desperately needs him to be. He has simply been an "ok" performer giving them a decent outing...but he defintiely has not stepped up to be the man that leads the staff.

Run support for all of our pitchers is going to be a major issue for UF every weekend from here on out.
UF simply has a bunch of holes in its line up and scoring runs will be a major problem once SEC play begins.

How about reading my post. Ever think about that?
His record isn't my concern, it is his pitching effectiveness. His ERA is 4.22 and he is allowing over 2 baserunners per inning. If that is what you expected from the ace and leader of the staff then feel free to be pleased. I will stick by my statement that he has been decent but less than anticipated.
I'm going to guess Sully and Crawford probably would say the same thing.
