It's a really bad loss at home.

Worse than any of our losses. GaTech was 15-13 coming in, and beat UM at UM.

so much for Katz's theory that "miami doesn't have as bad of losses" as we do--which was ridiculous then and even more ridiculous now.

Amen.
We have done our job. No, we didn't sweep the league like some had hoped, but you can't complain about this regular season at all.

The most overrated "factor" that fans discuss when talking about tournament seeding is "bad losses." Where this will hurt Miami is not that it's a bad loss, but a late loss and their performance the past four games reveals a 1-3 record. If they don't win the ACC Tournament, and we win our next 4 games, we're certain to be seeded higher than them. Obviously a lot of ifs going on there.

Both Georgetown and Miami went down tonight. Gators should move up a notch or two.
Not that it matters much at this point.

Miami is now losing the close conference games they were winning at the buzzer during the early conference schedule.

There was a graphic on UF vs. Vandy telecast that listed the Gators' five quality wins. Below that, it said "Bad Losses: None". That's very true, considering the excellent home records of the five teams the Gators lost to.
