I'm rather skeptical of this for the sake of Aaron Murray's health come September. If true, that's just sick.

Spurrier should give him a few plays as WR so he can win the Heisman.

the guy is a freakoid...makes sense, that's why he's already smacking the QB when the ball is hiked.

I love that video, it's ridiculous. He's the next generation of Jevon Kearse, bigger, stronger and faster.

I'm watching ESPN and they are talking about Manti Tao's 40 time. 4.82 which was 20 amongst LB's so it can't be that bad although, let's be honest, plenty of high school athletes can dust a 4.82.

His 5-10-5 shuttle time was 6th amongst LB's so he isn't completely slow.

Still, the point is, with athletes like Clowney out there why would anyone want athletes like Tao on their team?

This is the NFL.

Freak on freak.

I believe Clowney is 4.5 ish and it is impressive to see him play. He just dominates.

If you play on the line and are considered the likely No 1 pick in next year's draft, how much do you get on your insurance policy? It has to be for at least $15M.

I'm guessing that sports media will lead the way in an actual push for Clowney to win the award this season. Yeah, he plays defense... but this might be the best chance a defensive player will have for a long time.

If anyone could do it, a freak like Clowney would be a solid choice. This is literally it with huge NFL money calling.

If he played at ND, it would be in the bag.

When a player that size tears off a 4.5, a red flag should go up. I know he's a fan favorite, and I understand he made a really cool hit on a Big 10 player that lets SEC fanatics stick their chests out and boast about how physical football down south is, but come on. If that's true, that's insane.

It's just too easy these days to throw the word "freak" around, and look the other way without digging a little deeper.

Speaks volumes of how Nixon dominated him in the 2nd half of the beat down in Gainesville...

I googled Jevon Kearse 40 time. Didn't read much of everything but a 4.58 official time, and a 4.43 UF pro-day time came up. Clowney is in elite company.

p.s. @ 272 lb.

Carlos Dunlap ran a 4.71 at the same height and weight. I would think 4.5 and change for Clowney would be possible having watched both play.

I'm guessing you did not see the 300lb+ O linemen that ran a 4.65 at the combine?

Bigger, faster, stronger... isn't that the whole idea in the first place.
