Good riddance! Hope he has joined up with Che and the other "compleat socialist revolutionaries" at that place where it never gets cold.

For the time being it will just be a Chavez lackey taking over but without the charisma of Chavez his socialist government stands a much better chance of being tossed out in the next election. The opposition had a respectable showing in the last one.

The small possibility good news: the people of Venezuela may be able to finally have a free and democratic government. I hope for their sake that this will happen.

RIP. May God have mercy on his soul.

It will be far easier to limit and undo the follies of an Obama presidency than to restore the necessary common sense and good judgment to a depraved electorate willing to have such a man for their president. The problem is much deeper and far more serious than Mr. Obama, who is a mere symptom of what ails America. Blaming the prince of the fools should not blind anyone to the vast confederacy of fools that made him their prince. The Republic can survive a Barack Obama, who is, after all, merely a fool. It is less likely to survive a multitude of fools, such as those who made him their president." Author Unknown

My wife is from a small town in Colombia near the Venezuelan border. The people of Venezuela come across the border by the thousands to buy chickens, eggs, meat and vegetables which are unavailable in the workers paradise of Chavez. They sell bootleg Venezuelan gasoline from fifty gallon drums for one dollar per gallon (about 1800 Colombian pesos). Venezuelans are awash in gasoline and can't feed themselves. Good riddance to the latest dead communist dictator.
